A region-by-region checklist with map markers, glide routes, and which shards need the Tempest Cloak before you can reach them.
There are 48 Sky Shards scattered across the Floating Isles, and 11 of them are locked behind the Tempest Cloak. This checklist runs region by region in the order you naturally unlock them, so you can sweep each island once instead of backtracking.
Windmere Reach (8 shards)
All eight are reachable on foot. Start at the eastern lighthouse and follow the cliff edge clockwise; the last shard sits on the broken bridge pylon and needs a running jump from the upper beam.
The Shattered Steps (12 shards)
Four of these need the Tempest Cloak. Grab the eight ground-level shards now and come back after the Storm Temple. The glide route from the summit statue catches three of the cloak shards in one run.
Cloudspire and beyond (28 shards)
The remaining shards follow the main path. The only missable is on the collapsing platform in Cloudspire's final chamber: grab it before pulling the lever, because the platform never returns.
