Grow a Garden codes are free cosmetic decorations and, on occasion, seed packs and pet eggs handed out by The Garden Game, the Roblox group that publishes the farming game created by BMWLux and developed with Splitting Point Studios. It is the most visited experience on Roblox, past 35.9 billion visits, with roughly 24,000 players online on a weekday and more than 11 million favourites. Codes appear around events, visit milestones and studio announcements, and they stop working quietly once an event ends. We test every code on this page daily and move anything that no longer redeems to the expired list below.

About Grow a Garden
Grow a Garden is a farming simulator on Roblox that launched on March 26, 2025. The loop is simple: buy seeds from the shop when it restocks, plant them on the brown plots of your farm, wait for them to grow and sell the harvest for Sheckles, the in-game currency. Crops keep growing while you are offline, which is the hook the game repeats in every piece of its artwork. Sheckles go back into rarer seeds, gear such as sprinklers and watering cans, and eggs that hatch into pets whose passive abilities speed up growth or apply mutations to nearby crops.
Weather is where the real value comes from. Rain, storms and event-specific weather apply mutations that multiply a crop's sale price, and stacking several mutations on one fruit is how long-term players reach the enormous Sheckle totals shown in the game's thumbnails. Most updates add a new weather type, a new egg and a limited event with its own quests.
Where the game stands in September 2026
The game was created by a developer known as BMWLux, who was 16 at the time, and Splitting Point Studios joined in April 2025; it is published under the The Garden Game group. It set the Roblox concurrency record at 22.3 million players on August 23, 2025 and has since passed 35.9 billion visits. The official Roblox page shows the original game is still being updated, most recently on September 10, 2026. A sequel, Grow a Garden 2, launched on June 12, 2026 with a round map, a day and night cycle and crop stealing. It has its own separate code list, and codes for one game do not work in the other.
Codes matter because decorations and seed packs are otherwise locked behind limited events or Robux. The community wiki tracks every crop, mutation and pet if you want the exact numbers behind each one.
Where new codes come from
New codes are posted by the studio on the @GrowGames account on X and through The Garden Game community on Roblox, usually alongside an update, an event or a visit milestone. Milestone codes such as the BILLION and MCCU series have expired within days, so we check both sources every day and re-test each code in game.

Why does a code say Inactive?
Inactive means the code has expired. Grow a Garden retires event and milestone codes without notice, often within days. If a code from our active list fails, it probably died in the last few hours; we re-test daily. Also check for a stray space and make sure the capitalisation matches.
Do Grow a Garden 2 codes work in the original game?
No. Grow a Garden 2 launched on June 12, 2026 as a separate experience with its own code list. Codes are tied to one game only, so a Grow a Garden 2 code will show as Inactive here and vice versa.
What do the current codes give?
Both working codes give a cosmetic decoration for your plot: RDCAward gives the RDC Award and BEANORLEAVE10 gives a Green Bean Chamber. Neither gives Sheckles, seeds or pets. Earlier codes such as LUNARGLOW10 gave seed packs and an egg, so that type does return from time to time.
Can I redeem a code more than once?
No. Each code works once per account. Redeeming it on a second account counts as a separate claim, but the same account cannot claim a code twice.
How often are new codes released?
Irregularly. The studio tends to release codes for visit milestones, concurrent-player records and the start of big events, then lets them lapse. Long stretches with only cosmetic codes are normal, which is why we keep the expired list so you can check any code you find elsewhere.
